I created the DIY Science Zone™ in 2013. Where is the #DIYscizone going subsequent? – Thirty-Seven

Back in 2013, I created the DIY Science Zone™ as an program submission to GeekGirlCon. After the success of that first 12 months at GeekGirlCon, I have managed all elements of the DIY Science Zone whereas this progressive program was hosted at GeekGirlCon. This 12 months, at GeekGirlCon 2017, shall be the fifth DIY Science Zone!

It has been implausible 5 years! It wouldn’t have been a hit with out the zone’s wonderful donors, the tremendous zone scientist volunteers, and host & workers help by GeekGirlCon. I have served for over 5 years as a GeekGirlCon workers member supervisor the zone I created, being on the social media crew previous to that. Thank you, GeekGirlCon!

Five years makes one ask…

What subsequent?

  • What new experiments to run?
  • Which new scientists and educators to accomplice with?
  • What grants to pursue for longer-term funding?
  • What internet hosting conventions to accomplice with?
  • …many extra…

The DIY Science Zone is my creation, my ardour undertaking, and I find it irresistible. The motto and objective of the DIY Science Zone is “STEM for all!”. Whatever comes subsequent, I will proceed to try for the zone’s objective. STEM for all!
